Q. What kind of candles does Yankee Candle make?
A. Yankee Candle produces jar candles in varying sizes, tumbler and pillar candles, tea lights, votive candles, and more! They also produce a number of flameless fragrance options, such as Car Jars, Fragrance Spheres, Charming Scents, and more that can be used effortlessly and safely in a car, office, and other small spaces where an open flame may be inconvenient or unsafe.

Q. How do I care for my Yankee Candle product?
A. Yankee Candle wax candles should be stored in a cool, dry place to preserve the quality and color of the wax, as well as the quality of the fragrance. To keep a candle’s wick burning effectively and cleanly, it may be necessary to trim it to 3mm every once in a while. As for flameless fragrance products, refer to individual products’ care tips. Note that just like a wax candle, scents of flameless fragrance products will diminish over time. Follow recommended care tips to ensure their fragrances last the maximum amount of time.

Q. Are Yankee Candle products safe?
A. Yankee Candle products are safe when you follow each individual products’ suggested precautions. When using an open flame, take care to place it away from drapes, curtains, and other flammable objects. Also, take care that a pet or small child cannot knock over the candle or burn themselves on hot wax or flames. Yankee Candle cotton wicks are also lead-free.

Q. Can I reuse my Yankee Candle jar?
A. Yankee Candle jars can be reused as storage containers and decorative accents, but it is not recommended to refill with wax and repurpose as another candle. Glass can become weak after being heated and cooled over the life of a candle, and it may break with prolonged use past the life of the original candle. To clean a jar, carefully scrape/scoop out remaining wax, and then heat and wipe away any leftovers.

Q. How do I use Tarts Wax Melts?
A. You may notice that Tarts Wax Melts have no wick. In order to release their fragrance, they must be warmed in a separate holder. Electric warmers are available, as well as ones that utilize scentless tea lights to warm and melt the wax. Decorative wax melt warmers are a great way to decorate a room, too, as many feature fun, themed designs!
